Indeed Gary am hopeful that I can now make it this year so would be nice to travel with a few Tiger owners to France and Belgium, it’s always a great trip with like minded enthusiasts.

Have been sorting out some old pics from my archives and here are a few from my trips in 2005 and 2007;

(I apologise in advance for dial up internet users!)

Hopefully, will see old and new faces this year……..

Here is 2005,

SPA Tour

Post by gvickery » Tue Jun 09, 2009 10:07 pm

A club Tour to Spa and the Nurburgring plus a circuit in Belgium on the return leg should be on. Some members are keen to go whether there are Tigers racing at the Spa Francorchamps circuit or not but personally I'd would hope some Team Tiger racers are entering one of the weekend events. I know that Tony Eckford is planning to take the '8' LM Tiger and Paul Clayson has entered his Falcon Sprint. These are the only confirms I have heard todate. I know others have yet to decide.
Two crossing choices are being looked at - one from Hull tother from Dover (Eurotunnel). Day 1. Crossing and drive to Hotel Seehof at Butgenbach (20 mins) from Spa Circuit. Day 2 + 3 Take in the racing at Spa-Francorchamps. Day 3. Drive to Nurburgring and Hotel Nordschleife - the circuit is open to the 'public' until 19.30. Day 4. Run back through Luxembourg to an historic motoring site in Belgium and B&B. Day 5. Head for the ports! That's the basic outline. Can't cost it just yet but if interested please drop me an email at STOC.

Spa trip

Post by bigbob » Fri Sep 18, 2009 3:57 pm

You're lucky. I think that the Brighton speed trials may have overheated my clutch,causing gear selection problems, so by thurs night I've got to take out engine/gearbox, repair clutch & replace. Whilst working normal hours. A chalange to be ready for next friday, shame not to go by Tiger.
