The Rootes Trust (Archive) Open Day is not really a car meet, although I am sure several Rootes classics will be there and maybe the odd Tiger. It is an open day at the Centre which is where much Rootes history can be looked at along with all the engineering drawings of the Rootes Group.
So I wouldn't haul on down there in your Tiger unless you have some other places to visit too, like the Gaydon Motor Museum.
The next biggish event for the Club is Drive It Day on 26th April. We down in Surrey & Sussex are making a run to Eastbourne and a private classic car collection plus (hopefully) some 4 stroke Go Karting. You are welcome to join us.
