Welcome Michael to STOC's Forum.

You have a fine collection of Sunbeams, B382002258 LRXFE in particular.
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to view the restoration shots of your machine.
Be good were other Tiger enthusiasts to follow Michael's example and tell us about their Tiger.

Micheal, you may wanna be careful posting JAL numbers etc on a public forum. Then again when i was down under there seemed to be no hint of crime anywhere! ;)

Hi,

Actually, we have had an issue with a Tiger/Alger here in AU lately. A car was imported from N.Z a few years back. It is a SIV alpine that has had all the rusty tiger bits welded into it. It was sold through the healey factory in melbourne. Now, if you pushed and prodded about the history of the car they would say it was "rebodied" and then if you ask to clarify, they would tell you that the parts were swapoed into a donor alpine and the tags changed.

It has since appeared on e-bay a few times this year with much contention about its listing as an "original tiger" and the claims to its authenticity.

As for my car... well i am reasonably safe, the car was TAC'ed in 2003.. not sure what water that holds in UK, but seems to be the blessing process from what i read.

also.. some photos from today..
