Can the selector rod adjustment nuts be accessed through the inspection panel aperture inside the car where the 1/4 " pin is inserted through the hole in the 3 selector shafts or has access got to be from under the car? If so , is there a recommended spanner ( maybe a crowfoot ). Also am I correct in thinking that the nuts are serrated flanged stover nuts ? Access does look a bit tight. 2 of the nuts face the aperture but the nut on the 3rd/ 4th rod faces towards the gear lever which makes loosening it even more tricky.
