Are the 2 screws securing the accelerator pedal on a RHD Tiger self tapping screws, or are they machine screws with nuts on the underside?

Hi,

I'm pretty sure that the pedal was secured to the floor by self tapping screws. I know this as having restored 2 Tigers and several Alpines over the years,
the fixing (and pedal) are always rotten as this area suffers from dampness from water from feet making the carpet wet!

I would secure the pedal to the floor with say M5 stainless nuts and screws.
