regulator box

Is the voltage regulator box attached by machine screws or self tapping screws? I am having trouble undoing them .

Mine is fitted with Small Stainless Steel bolts, nuts and washers to the inner wing, around 2 BA Size I reckon?
These are new but presumably small Bolts & Nuts were used originally?

6 x No 10 x 1/2" csk cross recess + 6 x 3/16" shake proof washers + 6 x 3/16" plain washers from my parts list. It also lists a mounting plate so i presume they screw into that.
