Door shape change

Post by stuartb » Sun Dec 04, 2016 12:06 pm

When did production change from doors with rounded rear bottom corners to right angled corners?
Looking at pictures most RHD cars seem to have right anged corners.
My car built Jan 65 has rounded.

Round trailing edges to bonnet, doors and boot are correct for your Tiger.
'Cross-over' bodies were introduced at different points and dates in later MKI chassis numbers depending on whether the car was for export to North America and Canada, or built for Home and European markets,

LRX FE Tigers - went over to Square, Square, Round at pretty much B9473100 but the HRO FE cars were later!
