Believe it or not this site https://www.howmanyleft.co.uk/vehicle/sunbeam_tiger reckons only 260 Tigers are recorded as 'taxed' in the UK by the DVLA and another 30% are on a SORN.
I never thought the recession would take so many Tigers off the road - 80 of them being restored, repaired, stored, forgotten or simply awaiting funds!!
Pretty consistent since 2001 https://www.howmanyleft.co.uk/?utf8=%E2%9C%93&q=sunbeam 2014 = 260 versus 2001 = 264 but sadly the number on a SORN is rapidly rising - 2014 = 80 versus 2009 = 45. The total stock is rising either due to reimports or old registrations being reactivated, which is good to see
But 30%!!! Why?
