Classic Car - Has a 7 page article on driving a Sunbeam Tiger in California.
Classic&sportscar - Also has a 7 page article "Mission: Le Mans" by Tiger man Julian Balme with great photography in which he tells us about his drive in 7734 KV at the Le Mans Classic with an accurate historical run through as well. An excellent read.
Practical Classics - Front cover pic of Christian Marshall's Tiger under banner "Britain v USA". 9 page Group Test - 3 Brit V8 cars v Mustang. Good enough.
Great to get coverage in three mags in the same month.
Tiger coverage in classic car media - October
What a cracking piece in C&SC by Julian Balme on the 'Mule' - fabulous read.
It's a pity Peter Wyn Jones (one of the numerous owners in the sixties) is no longer with us, I recall him telling me how the twin Carter carburettors engulfed the engine bay in flames and his wife had to call out the fire brigade as he was at work!
Only reason he bought the Tiger in 1968, was to be competitive with another novice racer who was extremely quick in a Cobra, and they mainly took part in Hill Climbs all over the country. He did say that the Lister Tiger in its then current form was quick
Sadly I didn't have the time to have a proper interview with Peter, bet he had some great stories. Even one where his Ferrari 250GT broke a suspension wishbone whilst he was parking one day, lord knows what would have happened at his usual speeds!!

There may well be a similar bit of coverage in the Classic Car Weekly next week as I spoke with the editor on Wednesday. He ran to ask about what we're doing at the NEC so that may get added as well.
A press release about the Monte trip went out to the monthlies as well.
