I heard the TAC guy who came over from the States said he wouldn't give a TAC cert to 60% of the cars that turned up to the National.

If I may say so, this is case of 'you don't won't to believe everything you hear'!!
I know well the person you mention. I was with him all weekend at Stratford. He did not observe or say any such thing!!

nothing would surprise me .but having said that i cant see anyone making that comment without having a proper look at the cars
