Video of the track laps at last weekends Le Mans Classic.

There were dozens of cars on track with us and it was wet so we were unable to go that fast, at one point I even had to get into 1st gear! Still it was great to be able to drive the full 24 hour circuit.

Thanks for posting up, I’ll have a proper look tonight once I’ve escape the offices and our corporate firewalls :(

It’s great having the opportunity to run around the full Le Mans circuit, especially bombing down Mulsanne at speed. Imagine though it would be quite tricky when conditions are damp. I hear that the track time was cut to 2 instead of the usual 3, because of the weather and volume of cars. From what I gather also, this time they especially mixed up all abilities and cars with very different capabilities in the mix, marry that up with folk who are happy to parade the circuit, stop and take pictures and then those that want the full on track time session (bit like BigBob) I’d imagine that it would be a hairy experience.

Highly recommended though, and sorry I couldn’t make it this time. Though do have fond memories at the circuit, especially spanking a poorly behaved 911 at Porsche Curves :)

Any pics? .and if anybody needs help hosting pictures of their experience at Le Mans on this thread then please PM me.

Great video to watch Lou! Your new engine rebuild runs well  those wet conditions were something else, good to see your back end twitching just ahead the Dunlop Bridge

Val didn't like it one bit, particularly the sideways part. Notice the black Tiger that got in my way all the time! When the Countach came past I thought it was my car backfiring. It's not really on that moderns are allowed out at the same time, with their ABS there was potential for a big rear end shunt.

Incidentally we were also in the walking wounded class. The heater matrix blew in Bath on the way to the ferry, the Panhard rod pulled out whilst following Stuart W on the way back to the hotel on Friday and the power steering packed in just before the track laps on Saturday. But, the old girl got us to Le Mans and home. A new matrix is now fitted for the weekend run up to Stratford.

Some still images below from the weekend , with more to follow after Stratford.

Fond memories of this car from Brands in 1974 when the front spoiler came off and the car wheelied along the pit straight on the back wheels. Herbie Muller - big kahuna's!

Why was the number 11 Tiger so slow on the track, I took a lot of stick from a few of my mate's over the fact that even the Mini marcus was seting quicker lap times. It was a little embarrassing to say the least.

I'm impressed by the lack of comments! My in car video is so full of bad language that I don't think it's useable without a lot of editing!

I had the bad language after the camera was turned off!
