Tiger 50 book pic's

Post by Mal » Sun Aug 25, 2013 6:18 am

The sun was shining the birds were singing and Tigger was restless so we were out and about today to take some pic's for the Tiger 50 book.

Not knowing much at all about digital photography I am not sure if I am taking the correct requirement of whatever.

I have included a pic and am hoping for some advice.

I didn't check my lens and it has the obvious smudge top centre.
I am also having trouble trying to get the car to look red. The sun shining on the car always brings out the orange in the carnival red and makes the car look two tone. I will try parking it in the shade but this is not always achievable for the position you want, or I may try a night shoot but the flash may cause the same problem. If someone knows of a fix to the problem then please let me know.

This is what properties of the photo tells me.

Dimensions 228 x 1712
Width 2288 pixels
Height 1712 pixels
Horizontal and vertical resolution 72dpi
Bit depth 24
Resolution unit 2
JPEG image
663 KB

Thanks Mal.

Hi Mal

Nice looking shot. Others need to answer your technique questions because I cannot but I do feel you should roll the Tiger forward a few metres to lose that tree behind it!!

If there are any UK subscribers to the Book who are struggling with the photography of their Tiger please let me know, or post here. There are a number of good and friendly amateur and semi professional photographers you can be put in touch with.
