Hi everyone,
Because I didn't know anything about these models I bought a 'normal' example recently so I could "kick the tyres" on it (small shoes, I know). It arrived earlier this week and I am really impressed with it!
Our favourite car (cue: discussion...) has been captured extremely well and proportions look great. Detailing is very fine done thanks to etching (normal for white metal or resin models), allowing the trim to be picked out well. Paintwork's very smooth and reflective, and even the tread on the tyres is represented!
I think everyone who orders one will be really impressed with the club model, and the envy of those who don't. Well done to our Committee - and particularly Graham - in working tirelessly to put all this together (oh, and answer my many anorakish questions patiently too!).
Hope this helps in case anyone's still trying to decide - I know it's a few quid, but you'll forget that when it arrives. Anyway, it's a half century!

Thanks Peter for your excellent review. It is very good to see you are impressed with the detailing of the Tiger model. Thanks too for your kind words about the Committee of the Club...
I would like to say to our members that we have 40+ advance orders to-date and when we have 48 we shall firm our provisional order with Automodello.
So if anyone is in two minds right now please 'jump up on the wagon' this coming week! The more going with us now the cheaper the shipping will be and thus the final price to you.
