Shame the steering wheel is on the wrong side but I do like the air filter.

That looks a lot like an air cleaner assembly that Summit racing sells... I've had a custom top bit cnc'ed for mine...

This US MKIA first appeared to our eyes on eBay in October 2006 as a barn find. Restoration details unknown.

Just seen a before pic. Its cleaned up nice.
Any idea who restored it?

US eBay. All I have is the same picture that's on Facebook.
I guess the buyer is in the UK but no one has come forward with who restored it.

Hammer price £27,000 + 10% commission + VAT. So all up £30,240.

Good enough price, but whether it repaid the buy price, shipping from US and restoration costs - who knows??
