Danish MKII

I've been asked a few times today about this eBay listing http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Very-rare-and ... 500wt_1203

I have never seen this Tiger but it is known to STOC - several members will remember travelling to Denmark to meet Nils in the late 70's and the Tiger has been shown on a STOC stand back in the early 80's.

As Nils says in his listing he's owned the Tiger since 1976. I'm sure it is the real deal, even if it misses it's original engine, some MK2 trim, runs with an auto box and needs a bunch of TLC!

Nils MKII has stirred up a fair bit of interest. In digging out some images of it I came across a set of pics taken by former Club stalwart John Spong at a club event in the 80's. Some 'old favorites' here... Tigers and Members!

Recognise the machines and any of the geezers?

Nils Abild's MKII and PP1 on the left

Marcus Chambers ex-works recce machine and to its left ??

Image

Hartwell MKII (still sports its 'Corky' badge today).

Image

Left a MKII AF Tiger - unchanged to this day. Right, now a very known rally car

Image

The white Tiger still has only 9750 miles on its clock!

Image

Left another from the rare 'Hartwell 7' family and to the right the lowest mileage UK Tiger.

Can anyone hazard the place and date?

9700 miles? That's obscene. I thought mine was low at 46k.

Shame there isn't more pics of members with long hair, kipper ties and flares.
