FYI, that would be "Duke". He has a 347 stroker motor in his Tiger.

All runs will be timed at a RWYB you will get reaction time to the lights, 60 foot time 1/8 mile time 1/4 mile time and terminal speed every time you line up.
If you have never Drag raced before when you get there, get someone to run through the start proceedure with you ie how the lights show you where to stage your car on the line how the lights count down ect. One other thing the time does not start running until you move so if you are not ready do not worry just take your time and go when you want, your time is from when you move not when the lights turn green.

I highly reconmend this as a day out :D

Found some old time slips. We appear to have played there in 2005 & 7.
14.56 @97.2mph best run 2005
14.35 @95.0mph 2007
13.72 @101mph Brighton Speed Trials 2009
Getting better the older I get! Bring on 2012

My times must have been in the wet, with handbrake on, carrying a 20 st driver!
Best time at Brighton was with Martin [clutch destroyer]Pester driving & he is relatively light weight.
Just got to lose 10st by June to keep up with the "specialist"

I hear the "specialist" will have the Auto prototype Tiger ready for the drag run Bob so you still have a chance ;)
