Something tells me Gregor doesn't need the mirrors on his car as he was the only one passing... were the other cars actually racing??. Beautiful engine note as well. Thanks for the link.

Just looked at the ferries and have booked from Portsmouth to Le Havre, with LD Lines, much cheaper than Brittany Ferries. Looks to be a popular weekend there are very few cabins left!!!!!!!

Regarding the video link posted above... Must enjoyable, thanks from afar!
Does anyone know what car he was driving? It appears to be red which would make me think Italian at least from a vintage racing perspective. (My apologies to RedRaceTiger...) But it is also right hand drive, which leaves me a bit more confused than usual..
Thanks, Gene

Graham,
Many thanks for the additional information. You guys are extremely fortunate to have such events like this on the Continent and others like it in England so easily accessible (relatively speaking!).
Thanks again for sharing a bit of the flavor.

Gene.
Next month we'll be posting early details about our plans for celebrating the Tiger's 50th Birthday in 2014. Including our Golden Anniversary Tour to Le Mans and our homage to the 'works; rally effort with a tour to Monte Carlo tracing parts of the original route from Geneva.
It will be a 'huge ask' for USA fans of the marque to come over to Europe then but I am hearing some folk are making plans!!

Graham,
Now something like that is going to be extraordinarily great. Time to start planning on this side too!

For those paying homage and visiting the great 2012 Le Mans Classic in France, just be careful of the new breed of speed cameras that are being deployed across the country. The visiting 'British' folk will be easy prey me thinks.
New style speed camera spotted in France

Joking aside, they do have different cameras now, they look like the 'this is your speed' ones outside schools in the UK, i thought i'd broken one as it only had two digits so flashed Red 99 at me in the Sprite, it wasn't broken...E60 for a 10 min drive, luckily i was braking for the corner at the time.
