Best memory, before it got too regulated, was over taking MGs down the straight,, doing 120+, being passed by GT 40s, when an Enzo came past at about 180mph. 4 abreast no room for error. Didn't mind being passed that time. The noise was unbeatable. Now over priced, over regulated, too safety conscious, no fun any more. Not going back this year.

Good caption photo here,

He's thinking, If only I had a carnival red Tiger I could catch that Tomaselli,
and she's thinking, this photo shop hair spray is the best. My hair blows around less than the blue fluffy dice.

Not only do we have an increasing number of mobile speed cameras being deployed by the local gendarmerie, and they will for sure picking out overseas visitors to the LMC, but just check this out;

Doesn't mean you have to use it. A surer sign was the length of black stripes left leaving the bar car park! & how fast the trip was back to the hotel. All in the past now, as we have matured & wouldn't dream of such irresponsible behaviour now.

In addition to the new high tech style speed cameras being rolled out across France, that I posted earlier in this thread, thought I'd also report on the new legislation in France that comes into effect in July - to coincide with the LMC :cry:

Link to thread.

BigBob will be dissapointed. :mrgreen:

Myself (in a red '65, 260ci) + a TVR pal, and 9 other cars, inc. 5 Vipers, will be heading over on the thursday 825am Dover-Calais ferry for an off-highway trip down. After a brief stop to let the Tour-de-France pass from Rouen, we should make it in good time to one of the campsites. Returning on the monday 1715 ferry. Is there a classics/ Tiger/ Cobra (50th anniversary?) meet nearby LM during the weekend??

At the last count a dozen+ Club Tigers are travelling down on Thursday. Look out for the our Stand inside the circuit - we are just down from Dunlop bridge ahead of the 'Esses'. Sharing it with the Classic Sunbeam Club of France.

No single crossing or routing but most will be driving down through Northern France during the Thursday on N roads. The usual route taken is here:
