There have been a few cases of STOC members being clobbered by the local Gendarmerie, usually as we are rushing to get back close to the ferry ports. But I do know to coincide with the Le Mans meet the 'Brits' are easy fodder so do be careful!! 8) 8)

A taster for those attending the LMC and booked onto 'parade' laps.

Brief vid of little ol' me chasing Simon James on the track laps back in 2008, shame the pace car got in the way and I was still running my new engine in

Video link can be found here, for those members not yet been - it's always a great meet and highly recommend it 8) 8)

LOL @ "there's always a tit in a Porsche". Not exactly a classic Porker either.

I don't understand the procedure. How do you guys find yourselves doing a parade lap?

I'm not the competitive type, but that Porka had infuriated me after another confrontation with another "wannabe" Beetle earlier in the parade lap - who tried to box me but finally got taught a lesson - rant over Image

Parade laps are available from the organisers and from memory it's about €150 for three laps, a bit expensive but worth the experience me thinks. Last year we were lucky and managed to get on early in the day and had the track to ourselves; 8)

Yes, forgot to mention after 2008 I believe the organisers recognised that fact so it's now quite restrictive to get on the Parade Lap, especially if it's not through a recognised owner's club. 2010 was classics galore and so a lot more relaxing affair without the baffoons spoiling it. Image
