Just look at the depth of the dreaded "rust" it has to be a a reshell, no other way of keeping this Tiger alive.....only "Works" race cars may have been reshelled in their day, was't economical to do so for "Privateers"

It's a real pity it has been exposed to the elements for all these years.

At least the buyer will be able to do themselves a nice apple pie or two

Happy to oblige. If you send your email address to stoc@sunbeamtiger.co.uk I will email back a digital copy for you to reproduce as you want.

It went for £5356. Bet the seller was pleased with that. My first complete running Tiger was £2500, how values have moved on.

Well, bit of Tiger deja vu.

It went to £5356...again. Very strange.

Anyway, hope we find out who got it and their plans.
Would make an excellent project to follow.

For all those that are interested, the car was sold to a guy in California. Not sure how genuine it is still at this stage but i will keep you all posted. Thanks very much for all the interest

RHD body in the USA very unlikley. I will check with the CAT site, cannot think why anyone would go to the trouble of shipping that wreck and a pallet or 2 of parts all the way over the pond.

Right boys and girls, I've split the appropriate posts in this thread so that the relevant discussion on reshelling Tigers/Aplines/Algers can carry on via an appropriate thread.

This thread will remain for discussion on "Worst Tiger?" will be interesting to see where it finally ends up.............
