distress
i can relate to having alpines swim in a flood. in 1997 i had two harringtons, my series 1 and the wife's series 5 set thru a flash flood. the series 5 had been restored by tiger auto a year earlier. it takes a total strip down and everything has to be rebuilt. i didn't think seat foams could hold so much water.
Only Herbie
The VW floats my 64 bug conv't was flash flooded 2xhosed it out changed all fluids and line dried the carpets. Not so bad but the later every where a bearing was speedo went bad. Only seems horrible if the car is running when it submerges.
Moved from that subterranean garage Tiger has an ocean view now with its stable mate non floating bug.

That's a Beamy Craft
And the ends are rather blunt, I hope she gets up on a plane and out of her own wake.
I have only seen one parked never in the water in 25 years of owning a lead rag bucket.
