I can't show Robin (right now) what the badge on the bonnet is but here it is, in this poor blow up, on the side of one of Ian's Tigers. It also did a turn as a steering wheel boss cap.
STOC reproduced these for several years. We may even have a few in our Regalia stock still.

Thanks for the reply Graham. If you can get a clear imagine that would be great. Can you describe what is on it?
Thanks, Robin.

Rob, if you look at my previous post and click on the image you will see its a LAT tigers head with a chequred flag and SUNBEAm then TIGER around the top and bottom. Same logo that Sunbeam Specialties sells for the wheel centres for the LAT70's.

Less the one week to go until the Melbourne Gp commences. Extended forecast showing a bit of the wet stuff leading up to race day, with low twenties and a little cloudy on race day, so fingers crossed all will be ok. Can't wait!!

Robin
Be great to see some photos of the Drivers Parade.
SKY F1 have nabbed most of the GP broadcasts from the BBC, so all we will have tomorrow are 'highlights' and hours later.

I'm hoping a video of it will find it's way onto the net.
It will be a great spectacle and we might see some faces that we recognise (apart from the F1 boys that is.)

How about six world champions sitting on three Tiger's.
Follow this link and scroll through the pictures... my Tiger is one of them. I'm trying to get my hands on some of the pictures. I am trying to sort out some edited vision from the TV telecast.

Hi Mal,
I am still waiting for them to reply to my email. I will give it a days or so and follow them up again. I will also find their phone number as well. I will let you know what they're going to charge me.
Regards, Robin.

Fantastic job by you fellows in the Sunbeam Car Club of Victoria getting your Tigers on the F1 grid and those drivers in them. What a Day to Remember!!!
This site has an excellent set of images Robin & Mal

Hi Graham,
It wasn't the Sunbeam car club of Victoria, it was run by the Sunbeam and Talbot car club and we did also include Alpines in that. It was an amazing day and definitely one to remember... once in a lifetime event. I was honored to have one of your world champions on my car... Lewis Hamilton. ESPNF1 also had some good images and my friend also sent me the sutton site link, but thank you.
Regards, Robin.

I will post some photos in the next few days, and a video or two.
The parade was originally for SI-3 Alpines with wire wheels... but that was always going to be a stretch to get 27 cars, so it opened up to all alpines/tigers with wires or alloys.
It was quite a special day for sunbeams. There was also a Tiger in the auto avenue display sharing a marque with a 1985 ferrari f1, GTP racer, Surtees f5000 and a back to the future replica de lorean!
