Jack, it's Valentines Day soon!

As a special treat for “her indoors” this Valentines Day, why not treat her to a 2 tonne trolley jack from Aldi?

It is in stock now and only costs £19.99, plus it comes with a 3 year guarantee.

She will love you forever!!

One of my jacks is one of these.

It drives me mad because the jack release is at the end of the bar and the bar is bent.
It also comes down at a rapid rate of knots in comparison to my other one which is a lot more controllable.

All IMO ofcourse.
Sorry G. :(

I've just noticed these and they are very good.

I bought one and tested it against some standards I have and it was bang on.

I think I gave one of these as my tombola prize at the National.

Not the sort of present for "her indoors" though as she would be able to accurately measure your shortcomings.

I do not recommend this as your main jack but it is very handy when you need an additional one pronto for a particular job.

This happened to me recently, having given my old one to my brother-in-law, whose own jack had expired.

I had one hell of a game finding somebody that had a functioning trolley jack. Some looked like they had come out of the Ark.

If there is room in the Tiger's boot after all the luggage and tools have been loaded, it could be used as an emergency jack on a long trip.

Yes, I have one of those Aldi digital calipers. They are first-class and extremely accurate.

One of my machinists buys them in bulk from Aldi when they come up on special offer.

Unlike his far more expensive ones, the cheapo Aldi one switches itself off and saves him money in replacement batteries!

Agreed.
If they sorted the wonky handle out and the lowering rate it would be a great jack.

My other jack is from Halfords and came in a kit with axle stands, wheel chocks and a crawler. Very similar to this but I got mine around a decade ago.
