NEC Classic Car Show

Post by gvickery » Fri Nov 11, 2011 9:41 am

STOC AT THE NEC

5 Tigers on our stand (7C10) this weekend:
- EGB 120C, a one owner from new machine
- TGA 260, a nice pretty much standard MK1
- OPC 53E, a great looking example of the rare MKII
- HAX 41C, a striking personalised MKI in stunning red!
- ADU 179B, the magnificent Le Mans racer that finished 7th in the latest
Goodwood Revival RAC 'TT' Celebration race; the blue ribbon event of
classic motoring racing.

All together a fine display and well worth turning out for this weekend!!

A clear sign the classic car market remains buoyant, the NEC show is proving to be an extremely popular meet with yet another record turnout of people.

It was good to see genuine interest in the "Tiger" marque from Joe Public with lots of inquisitive enquiries and our regalia stall keeping busy with sales.

A few pics from todays show, and get yourself there this weekend - highly recommended 8)

I dont know tony.. they are in hoodies.. maybe they are looking for any cutouts before they jump it and take it for a spin :P

Really nice selection of tigers in the show.. though i have to say.. im always dissapointed to see nobody runs the steel wheels + hubcaps.. i think anyone who has seen tigers in the last 25 years will assume they were fitted with minilites from the factory  [/b]

Thanks a lot Tony for another terrific spread of photos.

I was there today and the stand was still very busy. The Team told me 7 new members joined this weekend!!

NEC Show

Post by Mstowe » Sun Nov 13, 2011 10:24 pm

Just returned from the NEC show having collected my car that had been on the stand & just wanted to say a big thanks to Peter Shinton & his team. i imagine at times it can seem a thankless task but with their time & effort the club had a great presence at probably the largest classic show of it's type in Europe & I for one was proud to be part of it.

Thanks Peter!

Martin.

Very nice choice of Tiger's for the show guys... some very nice picture and love the Tiger emblems on the seats of the red Tiger. Looks like a lot of interested on-lookers.
