I do like the lok of wire wheels on a Tiger. Are they bolt on ones on the blue car?

Hi Michael,

Did Michael Ban race this year at Winton? Be interested to hear how his new engine is going.

Thanks, Robin.

Bob,

The wheels are 13x5.5 bolt ons by elite IIRC, a few sunbeams down here have them, though they are now NLA new. That car is a factory stock tiger, but the owner is still careful not to give it to much right foot down low...

On a personal note i like the look of boranis, or high density spoked tripple laced wires.. the ones on the alpines dont float my boat.. and the bolt ons less so (if you are going to put up with the headaches of wires.. they should be bolt-ons)

The e-type roadster with hardtop has nice wide spec CWW... they looked great.. as did the car... just devine.
