Can someone explain the visual and build differences between a Tiger Mk.1 and a Mk.1A please.
I know they can be told by chassis number, but what can you see by looking at the car?
Mk1 vs Mk1A
Re: Mk1 vs Mk1A
Mk 1 has metal cover over the stowed soft top, Mk 1A has a soft plastic vinyl cover. Mk 1A has footwell vents under the louvers in front of the windshield and knobs under the dash to open and close them. Mk 1 has no vents. Mk 1A mirror is larger.
Re: Mk1 vs Mk1A
A couple I know of:-
1. Mk1 Round Corners to Doors and Bonnet, MK1a Square edged (Note some late Mk'1 around 100 or so have square edges to the bonnet and doors too)
2. Mk1 The Sill Seam below the rear of the doors and between Front Wings and Scuttle not leaded over like earlier Mk1 cars?
I'm sure there are more, but I'm still learning
