Is there a solution to photobucket holding the website to ransom?

If you are using Firefox browser there is a patch to download which works at the moment.

"Photobucket" has simply committed a 'crime' against historical browsing!!!

All Photofxxxet users must pay-up or relocate to a free file sharing site.

Sadly their grubby grab has knackered a great deal of the photo history in this Forum

I’ve downloaded google chrome and added the patch. Had delete browsing history cache for it work. Well works for now.

I used the chrome extension that Stuart B recommended here: http://sunbeamtiger.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2150

That should fix the 'photobucket' block. Viewers should be able to see past posted pix but will not be able to reach where the pic was held by 'photobucket'

I added the Google Chrome patch, deleted my browser history and Bob or rather Graham's your uncle - it works, I can now view old added Photobucket images. Excellent.
