TIGER50 International - 11th-13th July
TIGER50 International - 11th-13th July
CALLING ALL MEMBERS
THE TIGER50 International Rally is about to kick off!!
Here's hoping for a great turnout by STOC members and Tigers especially on Saturday. No better place to be for Tiger nuts than the Stratford Manor Hotel - Stratford on Avon this weekend.
Don't forget the 'parts swap shop'- sellers or buyers, or to collect your copy of The TIGER50 Book or to buy one, if not bring your copy of another Tiger book to have it autographed by Peter Procter, Andrew Cowan and Rosemary Smith!
Looking forward to seeing you all!!!!

My car came back from the Classic on the back of an AA truck. Not how i would of liked. One of the lower fulcrum mounting bolts sheared. I limped to the ferry, so only had to use uk recovery.
I am doing every thing i can to get it fixed in time, but may have to finish it Saturday morning, can you give me a rough time table so i can join in when i get there.
Worse case i will be there in my modern for the Saturday night.
Happy Tigering
Harry.

Didn't see you at the stand but you were not alone. From our group of 12, one Tiger is still there and two limped back to Caen - UJ's/ Header tank fracture/ etc. There are still a dozen + running around the Loire!
Best of luck fixing the pin sharpish. Concours starts around 2pm. Can you target that?
These links to info are not bang up to-date but they do 'show the way'!!

Sorry to hear that was the case Graham, it's always inevitable Tigers misbehave abroad Hopefully, nothing too serious and all manage to eventually get home.gvickery wrote:From our group of 12, one Tiger is still there and two limped back to Caen - UJ's/ Header tank fracture/ etc.
Back on thread; looking forward to the weekend, some nice weather would be good if you can organise that too

Late night in garage, car is now fixed. All ready for Tiger 50.
It may well have been my spin, in the wet at Goodwood in the afternoon after you had all left Tony that caused the the start of the problem. But i did have the track to my self for a good twenty laps, so looks like i paid the price.
See you all Saturday.
