Wow, I hadn't realised the extent of the rust damage. Looking closer at the pics, I doubt the shell would stay in one piece when 'pulled' onto a flatbed/trailer. You can see the waterline...
Reminds me back in 1988 when I travelled all the way to Portsmouth to look at a restoration project and when the car was jacked up for me to have a closer look at the rust underneath, the chassis folded in the middle.

It was good to see the seller cooperating with potential buyers interest and questions throughout the auction, and letting the auction go until the very end. A refreshing change on eBay from normally seeing 'selling wheelnut for 99p' or ending early to avoid fees.
I thought that was a full price, I suppose a premium is expected for the few remaining unmolested Tiger projects that have never been restored.

The owner died last year, and was being sold by his daughter. It clearly had some sentimental attachment, but surprised the then owner left the Tiger to the elements with no real protection.
Somebody will have there work 'cut out' to restore and get this MK2 through a TAC.
Seller's pics below for future reference on this thread when the listing is finally 'archived' on eBay;
