Re: Oil Filter Query
I managed to Change the Oil & Filter last Friday in line with the Workshop Manual and tgr747's Instructions, so thanks :) It wasn't all plain sailing though  I tried to undo the pipe Union and the filter adapter started to spin too! I had to scrounge a suitable adjustable spanner off my Father-...

Re: Sherwood Restorations
I know a bit about Sherwood Restorations and I often pop in to see the cars for sale and know something about the Tigers they have worked on recently. They re-commissioned/restored an original low mileage White Tiger (18K Miles) to a good standard and I had chance to see the Car when finished, I hav...

Re: Oil Filter Query
Ok Thanks
I'm off to Newark Auto-jumble on Sunday, will get an assorted pack off one of the traders
Will also keep a look out for some decent 20W/50 Classic Oil too?

I didn't realize that the Centre pipe Union and adaptor needed undoing to release the old Oil Filter?
I thought the Oil Filter screwed onto the Adaptor/Aluminium housing
I think I understand what your saying, any idea what size the Fibre washer is I need to replace?

Hi All I'm planning on doing an Oil & Filter change soon, ready for the new show season. My car is fitted with the standard remote Filter casting/mounting (Don't know the correct name!). Is there anything special required to remove the oil filter from the Aluminium casting/mounting which has the inl...

Re: Dynamo Clearance Issues
I did some further investigation at the weekend, with the car jacked up on Axle stands I could see the PO Martin had fitted some Stainless Steel Heat Shields between the Exhaust Manifolds and the Engine Block to protect the Engine Mounting Rubbers presumably, these appear to raise the Engine 3 or 4m...

Dynamo Clearance Issues
Hi all and Happy New Year I've posted this query on the Tiger UK Facebook Page and got some possible solutions posted but thought I would try on here too? After having Charging Issues I've recently replaced the Dynamo on my car for a fully reconditioned unit together with an Electronic Voltage Regul...

Re: Correct Period Radio for a Tiger
One of my other Jobs completed in 2019 on my Tiger, a period Radio.
Not the Correct LAT72 Surround and speaker I know, but it looks period and my Mate's converted it so I can connect my MP3 Player
