Hi,
No problems at all, I get it right once in a while . I installed an electronic controller for my fans with an over-ride switch. The traffic overheating is very common, but is fixable.
Regards, Robin.

Re: hot running
Thanks Robin, that pic is very similar to what David suggests and does look neat.Bigbobs idea sounds good as well, but would the alternator sit much lower to headers restricting air flow around them and absorb heat from that area, which is what i want to avoid. Many thanks Greg. Hi Greg, If you mounted...

I noticed you are thinking of going for an alternator and I recently did the same. If you are interested, I have a plan (from a ve...

Hi, There are some kits already available from the US (Dales restorations) and you could also try Sunbeam spares Co or Sunbeam supreme, both in the UK. I know Dales definitely has a kit, but I don't know how much modification is required. I think there is also a caliper upgrade with the standard dis...

Hi, There have been a number of different installations of fan's in Tiger's. I personally have twin 10" fans installed, but I have heard that they can be too restrictive when not working (I have not had any problems though). The 12" fan is a good choice as it flows well and can be fitted into the ar...

Hi Greg, If your engine is running on, I am 99% sure that your ignition is out. Have you had a chance to check your ignition timing? If you have leaned down your carby, it would be worth checking you air/fuel ratio on a dyno or exhaust gas analyser. This will also cause hotter running. Regards, Robin.
