Just looked at the ferries and have booked from Portsmouth to Le Havre, with LD Lines, much cheaper than Brittany Ferries. Looks to be a popular weekend there are very few cabins left!!!!!!!

John Abel and all the other Chester starters made it as far as Market Harborough, although they were a bit mud splattered by then! The event finishes in Monte Carlo on Thursday.

Not bad, quite a few errors though, I think they got confused between mark 2 Tigers and the Ken Miles prototype. Also the first half is more about the actual car which has a 289 engine not a 260 so makes strange reading.

Article on the AM Vantage has some good photos!

Thank you for the replies. I checked with Real Steel and 6 psi is the correct pressure. the Edelbrock instructions are very specific. I know about the hose, but I fitted a new one when I built the car, so only 5 years old. It might be the pump leaking, but guess it really need setting up on a rollin...

Fuel Pressure

I am running an Edelbrock 500 4 barrel carb on my Tiger with a mildly modified 260 cu in engine. I have set the fuel pressure at 6 psi which is what is recomemded in the Edelbrock literature, however cruising about with the hood up, it smells of fuel. I know one solution would be to put the hood dow...

Already booked in the diary, looking forward to an excellent weekend, hopefully not quite as hot as 2010! 43 degrees C was a bit much!

Thank you , forgot to add it runs a Mallory electronic distributor. I did think about headers but there is not a lot of room! Not sure how it sounds as I have only heard it when I have been driving! A friend say she can hear me from the end of the road so I guess it has a distinctive sound, it is ru...

Briefly my 260 cu. in. has a Ebelbrock 500 4 barrel carb, Comp Cams Xtreme Energy (31-324-3) cam, 1.785" inlet valves & 1.465" exhaust valves, screw in rocker studs. The heads had some work done on the ports together with the manifolds. The pistons are from JE and give a 9.7:1 compression ratio. Sti...
