My anti-theft method worked too well. It took me over an hour to get the wire back on the starter! [see Tony's photo from Brooklands]

My plan has always been to have the scruffiest Tiger, so thieves walk by & nick a nicer one. Its worked so far! Suggestion for new award at the National...Car least likely to be stolen. But on a serious note, it is worrying the front these scum have in taking cars from shows when they could be spott...

Brembo brakes
I've had Brembos for some time, but I'm struggling to find suitable pads. I'm using Hawk HPS D592 pads, which were recommended, but I find they lack "bite". I don't run a servo & the car stops ok if you press hard, but would like better feel. Any suggestions for alternative makes?

I've tried some of their suggestions over the winter, with good effect so far. Blocked off horn holes & infilled between rear of front valance & underside of rad. Fitted curved bladed pusher fan on thermostatic switch. Also replaced mechanical water pump with electric version, better flow at idle. A...

Mine was from a Fiesta, as it was cheap & compact. Make sure its a clockwise running alternator. My simplified installation ran for years with no problems. http://i1019.photobucket.com/albums/af314/Bigbob9571/july091.jpg http://i1019.photobucket.com/albums/af314/Bigbob9571/july090.jpg http://i1019.p...

The question was asked "whats the power now?" I took a wild guess at 300 bhp as it's a 302 motorsport engine running 8psi boost & its not been on a rolling road yet, so I'm not sure..... I might be wrong though. But as Gary, so kindly noticed ,its off the road for at least 6 months a year & very low...

I don't want to upset you, but I,ve just renewed with Flux for £235. Thats with some speeding points, & I've declared my 302 with supercharger. Value only £15000 & 5000 miles though. Addition of supercharger only added £40, much to my amazement. They must know how slow I drive.
