Radiator mounts

Anyone has ideas about best way to fit radiator with flexible mounts?
Currently using short pieces of silicone hose to give some flexibility but is there a better way?
Also adding flexible spacers between rad brackets and body shell brings the rad very close to the steering rack. Ideas?

Thanks Redbaron.

Lots of other stuff to do before the oil change, but hopefully will be ready for the "spring meet" after 1+ years off the road.

Thanks for the info guys.

I run a 289 with solid lifters, is this what pushrod calls flat tappets?

Thanks.
Probably give it a go at the spring oil change.

Has anyone tried Valvoline VR1 Racing Motor Oil 20W-50?

As a surprise, Lizzie bought me a set of Tiger overalls from these guys.
The quality is good and logos really stand out!
Well pleased, shame to get them dirty.

You could check out Land Rover switch labels. Slightly different format to Tiger ones but they fit!

Radiator

Just bought a new radiator from Alicool (01543 898700) after my Radtech one developed a leak. Radtech wanted about 3 weeks to carry out a repair, Alicool sent out a new one within 5 days. Welding on the Alicool rad looks excellent, the brackets needed some adjustment to the mounting slots but this m...

I tried to negotiate importing 2 complete T5 kits from MDL.
Emails went unanswered, promised phone calls not returned. Like trying to swim through treacle so gave up in the end.
Not sure why this was as usually dealing with US companies is a pleasure.
Perhaps you will have better luck.

Thanks for the tip Graham, Bit of a bugger really as I've just spent all my money on a rather nice loft extension. It would have been super to have another Tiger, one that I could use, but I'm stuck with my machine needing lots of TLC (money) and the prospect of a succession of fellow Tigerites ensc...

Thanks guys. Apart from carb problems, the car seems relatively OK. However, a new dizzie would probably not come amiss. Garage construction coming together, ceiling, lights and loft almost complete. Looking forward to working on the Tiger under cover. Maybe I could then sneak in a secret performanc...
