No grease nipples on the Tiger rack. It's filled with a heavy oil instead...
Does that mean it's supposed to be Maintenance free or can you top up the Oil?

Presumably by Heavy oil you mean Gearbox/Diff oil, EP80/90?

Re: RHD steering rack

Peter Thanks for the info. I believe the PO of my car did strip down, check and re-assemble the Rack on my car, I find the steering quite heavy and a bit notchy :( Are the original Racks supposed to be maintenance free, I can't see any grease nipple like on some contemporary 60's cars? My previous T...

Re: RHD steering rack

Yes, I suppose the majority of Tigers went to the States or other foreign countries and left hand drive, hope mine is in good condition?

Re: Standard air filter replacement filter element

Mines got a K&N Filter fitted in the original AC Filter Housing.

This was installed by the previous owner and I have no Idea if it is more efficient than a standard one, although K&N are a well known performance upgrade manufacturer?

Re: Tyre Pressures

Ok thanks, I don't suppose the original Tyre Pressures quoted when the car was new are any good now due to the radial tyres?

Just out of curiosity what were the specified pressures Front & Rear for the Tiger with Cross plies fitted?

Tyre Pressures

Hi All

I've done a quick search on this forum but can't find the answer.

I'm running 185/70 x 13" Tyre's with 6J Alloy wheels on my Tiger, what would be the recommended Tyre Pressures front and rear for normal everyday use?

Thanks

Rally Tiger - ADU 312B

I had the privilege recently to view close up the Rally Tiger ADU 312B at the Club National meeting at Brooklands and briefly meet Rosemary Smith one of its original drivers :D A few images of the Photo shoot that was in progress for an upcoming Classic car magazine article. Does anyone know the new...

Re: Hardtop Stainless finisher - Fitting advice

The Final installment on the Hardtop refurbishment (For now?) I Received all the lower seals and fitted them this week, including new seals to the top of the Door Windows on the Hard top. The worst one to fit was the lower section under the rear window, plenty of lubrication, use of a blunt wood chi...
