Not sure who it was at the moment, but originally the car was delivered to Buckingham Palace & signed for by the secretary. Might have been a royals car or maybe just the secretarys?

Well had a week or so on & off to get a start on the Tiger. First off i ran a DA connected up to an industrial vacumm cleaner across the outer panels. As an aside, word has gone around here pretty quick that the eccentric englishman has just gone & bought another 'catastrophie', had one lot around this evening & another coming to see it on Monday :-)

The Tiger has arrived, looking a tad sad & rusty but pretty sound. Got her sideways in the garage too, so plenty of space to work. I'm still waiting delivery of my Tiger, but every TRE i have seen on other classics has been with the nut at the bottom. The steering arms are usually tapered & the TRE will only fit one way. Sounds to me like yours are OK.

Gents,
thanks for all the help, but Ned top bloke that he is has voluntered to bring the Tiger across himself. So time to tidy the gargage & hopefully it will still be sunny & BBQ weather when he arrives.

Michael your correct they are IDF's, i didn't look properly.
Nice twin DCOE set up you have, i've a triple DHLA 40 set up to fit to a straight six sometime soon.
