Great pics.
In many ways , it looks better than the FOS....well, it's like the FOS used to be..... Not packed solid with people, full access with that relaxed atmosphere. More like a little club than an event.
I know what I mean lol.

Going a little off topic here, but do all Tigers suffer with overheating problems or is it just the cars that have had larger engines fitted?

Do the vented bonnets solve the problem or just improve it?

Was the problem improved on the MK2?

Another thing i forgot to mention is the point at which the panhard rod mounts is suseptable to damage and is often either repaired.. or if not is torn.. not something to worry about as it happens on many tigers.. but something to look out for. It should be re-enforced if rebuilding or just re-enfo...

Thanks for that Michael.

I've just remembered that I have a couple of boxes of old car mags buried in the loft somewhere. I may spare some time later and dig them out and see if there is any info in any of them.

Cheers mate.

Looking For A Buyers Guide

Hey guys, I'm trying to find a Tiger buyers guide to give me an idea of what I should be looking at/for.
I've read the guide on ClassicTiger.com, but I wondered if there was a more detailed guide anywhere.

Thanks! :D

Wow, some open heart surgery going on there. At least you know that when it is finished and protected from the elements (do you guys actually get bad weather down there? lol) it will last you a lifetime. What is the free standing panel assembly with the holes in it? Does anyone have any bodyshell sc...

Hi Nigel, thanks for the info.
So, you have a Tiger for sale? If so, what's it like?
Could you provide some details about it please?

Cheers mate!

You raise some interesting points that I will have to think about like the originality issue.

Many thanks mate.

Thanks for the replies guys. It's all very interesting and informative and reassures me that a Tiger is a car I can easily live with and enjoy. I suppose another question I should ask is, how much will I have to pay for the right car? I have noticed that "concours quality" cars fetch a serious amoun...
