Sterling effort!!!! Well done Sir. Thanks for the pics Graham. To be honest, the car isn't modified externally as much as I thought it would be, which is great to see. Often, you can't tell what a car used to be, but there's no doubt there. I'm loving the headllights. I wonder if a set could be made...

Paint Probs

This is probably more of a question for white Tiger owners, but I was hoping someone could help me. I need some paint for my car. It is a '65 car in white (92) I believe it is arctic white. I went to a local paint dealer yesterday to get an aerosol, and all they could find was Talbot white from 1975...

I went to Woolies yesterday (thanks for the info Ash!) and got a load of supplies. It was a bit of a trek, but a Little Chef stop on the way helped. I highly recommend the Beef and Ale pie, mushy peas and chips. :D The place is great and the people who work there are really friendly. They have every...

Boot Panels

Hi everyone, Does anyone happen to have some photos of the 2 boards that fit at each side of the boot and the 2 smaller rectangular ones that cover the petrol pipes at the back? At some point in their history, probably when the car was waxoyled, the ones on my car have had bits torn off of them and ...

Hi Ash, I thought I'd have a bash at recovering it as I have nothing to lose really if most people replace it anyway. Thanks for the Woolies info too. I didn't know they existed. If I don't completely bugger it up, I may do a how to on it. Why do I feel that disaster awaits lol. :D Dont set fire to...

Dash Refurb

Hi,
Has anyone revinyled their dashboard top?

If so, how did you get on?
Is it easy or hard and does anyone know where you can get vinyl covering from that matches up well to the original?

Many Thanks, Martin.

Wouldn't a solution to the headrest / tonneau situation be to recline the seats when you fit it?

I'm probably missing something obvious as usual lol.

Hi Harry, Hi Mal, thanks for the replies and info. When Keith told me they were lead heads, he did mention that you could simply leave them and they wouldn't die, but I wanted to explore my options. It's unlikely that the car is going to be seeing any competition, so it looks like I will be playing ...

Hi Robin, I bought the car from Keith Hampson and he said that they were still lead heads, which would be what the previous owner had told him, so I am confident that they are still leaded heads. Yes, it's an unrestored Tiger. Do you have any idea of what the ball park figures are for the options yo...

Lead Heads

When I bought my car I was told that it was still running leaded cylinder heads. I was wondering, what are my options regarding this? I think one remedy is to adjust the ignition or by changing the heads for a set of unleaded ones. Also, can fuel additives help the situation? Any and all help and op...
