Martin. Update on the cross member. I spoke with Randy today and got the measurements required. Bad news is that I have a bent cross member which is out by 1/2-3/4" across the shock towers which would account for no shims that side. Talk to Randy. Front cross members are a speciality of his. He's helped me with info in the past. Very nice and helpful chap. If you put a similar thread up on CAT and he'll be along. Search 'Crossmember' on the CAT forum and talk (pm) Randy Willett (oneoffive).
He overhauls and upgrades them. He should be able to tell you all you need to know.
