Alloy are the best, but I think you can get original re-cored with up rated parts to retain original look.

The E type was penalized 30 secs for the impact. There is a fine line between competitive racing in UK & the more "demonstration" races in USA. But the cars were built to race and would have had damage in period. They're only metal and can be rebuilt.

I got a great deal on a Mustang set up. 8 injectors & throttle body. I went whole way and also removed distributor & went for coil packs triggered from sensor on bottom pulley. All controlled by Emerald ECU. Return fuel pipe also feeds back into 90 bend cut into filler neck. I used swirl pot in spar...

Have you tried replacing instrument voltage regulator under dash. Controls fuel, temp & rev counter I think. Often fails after a time. New solid state ones easily available.

That should work ok. I'd check thermostat. or water pump. Also sender can read wrong. Try infra red temp probe to double check.

I sold my old 260 to a local man who has totally rebuilt it & upgraded it to about 250-300 bhp. Last time I heard he was hoping to sell it. Don't know price, but wont be cheap.
