depends if you want a handbrake or not :) for a road car, you need calipers with a handbrake activation mechanism which reduces the choice. i've seen various options but i used the kit that dale sells. his kit has changed a bit over the years but now uses modern mustang calipers, fiat discs, a custo...

if you only want vented discs/rotors, dale a. sells them (dalesrestro.com). with modern pads in the stock calipers that's probably all you need. i wouldn't think about changing the calipers unless you already had discs on the rear too. SUNI V
just got back from SUNI V in Rapid City, S Dakota. although this is an international sunbeam event that takes place every 5 years, its about as international as the baseball 'world' series and other than rosemary smith, my wife and I, the odd canadian and one australian, it was mainly a US event. it...

sorry to disagree but if the car doesn't overheat at speed, i very much doubt the radiator is at fault. first check your gauge reads right. a mechanical gauge is much better than the stock electrical one which requires a working regulator. an infrared thermometer pointed at the top of the radiator c...

assuming you have a two piece seal (late model 302's had a one piece), as said, it is indeed possible. not particularly easy though and definitely something you'd want the car on a lift for. there is a special tool you can get to remove the seal or you can make one yourself. looks like this: http://...

if it runs too cool (i.e. < 90C) you need to change the thermostat. often people put a lower temp thermostat in to try and compensate for poor cooling which in the tiger is almost always due to insufficient air flow and recirculation of air at low speeds. in these cases an alloy rad is not necessary...
