Hardtop

All depends on how much work you can do, what you have to start with and ...

Goodwood Revival 2008
Interesting photographs Michael. They certainly show a number of the 'contenders' in the "TT". The Tiger did a dozen or more laps in the hands of Vern Schuppan. Here is a description of most of the other VIP drivers: http://www.goodwood.co.uk/site/content/revival/News.aspx?CCID=a5975794-ba0b-43b0-ad...

1965 Tiger - started after 4 decades off the road
An inspiring clip 'sunbeamtiger1965'.
Your Dad must have been well pleased to hear that rumble again.
So why did he wait 40 years?? Is the resto complete now?
For other browsers here's the clip http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=Ey1dYiSDBZw

Looking For Owner History
Hi Steve In Feb 1966 Rootes would deliver a US specifications (LRX FE) Tiger on a 'straight sales' basis to customers who were "Foreign Governement Employees" (that included US Forces in Europe) at a price of US$3024 for collection in London and eventual export to North America or Canada. For collec...

CLASSIFIEDS
Malcolm. All the small ads in STOC's Classifieds pages are current and the cars listed for sale are FOR SALE. Cars that have been sold are marked 'sold' and are left on the page for a couple of months to show our members and browsers alike what has gone through the market recently. I hope this is he...

Tiger Build Specs
STOC has a copy of the Jensen Motors production ledgers and these show your Tiger was built on the 6th March 1965, making it a fairly early home market (HRO) Tiger. The Club doesn't have any information on the original registration number of your Tiger but the DVLA does. I don't have the right link ...

Goodwood Breakfast Club - Soft Top Sunday
Hi Harry
I shall be there in my MKII but as I am a fair bit closer to Goodwood than you - I'll see you there.
Anyone else up for a sharp Tigering start on Sunday morning?
Cheers

Wheel Types
Derek. As said before wire wheels plus knock ons were never offerred as a factory option since the 13" Alpine wheel simply shredded its spokes. If you go to www.sunbeamtiger.co.uk/pictures/scans/B9470010_AF.jpg you will see one of the 'AF' development cars at Jensen sporting wire wheels. This shot w...
