I did some floor pans on a Triumph Stag 2 weeks ago. I had to make corrugations on the panel for strength, and to look correct. It was quite easy really, and I got a lot of satisfaction from it. I bought new outrigger sections though as they were only £17 each, and made from metal too thick to bend ...

I have a 1 inch spacer on my Holley, and get no problems with the carb. If you have tubular headers they can raise temperatures in the engine bay which does not help; some use exhaust wrap to help with this. I have the LAT bonnet with vents so this may help to release trapped heat. Re your problems ...

Hi Sunbeamron The Rover V8 is not a good choice for the Alpine as it is wider than the Ford V8. If you have to have a V8 then go for the Ford 302 engine. They are nearly as cheap as the Rover engine and fits a treat; and you can use the standard Tiger headers, engine mounts and other parts etc. If y...

Hi thanks i will look into the 15 inch option ,do they look ok with the 50 series tyres not to low profile looking for the car, thanks Going up in wheel size does give the Tiger a more modern look, but its a matter of personal preference really. I run 185x60R14 on 5.5 wheels at the moment, and I wo...

Jay, 200F is not too bad (about 93C), well below boiling point; even without the 13lb pressure boost, the coolant should not boil. The noises are probably just gurgling as the water moves around. Mine runs at just under 90C most times now, although it went to just over 90C after a 'very fast' run on...

I don't think we can assume they dont have a problem at high speed, they may not yet have encountered the conditions that cause it. Mine didnt get too hot until I did a track day in hot weather. I experimented with closing off the horn holes, blocking in the gap below the rad, and fitting the flex-a...

Brooklands Alive Event
I was at this event on Saturday, doing car rides in my Tiger. At 4pm, I was asked if I would do some demonstration runs up the Test Hill with some other V8 cars. I ended up joining an AC Cobra (owned by AC Heritage) and the HWM Stovebolt Special. I felt the Tiger was in quite good company :) I spoke...
