Looks like a good entry this year, with strong support from the Alpines. Glad I'm only in these races, those doing the Intermarque as well have 4x 10 minute races to fit in. Great for the spectators and TV but a nightmare for those responsible for managing the grid!

Tiger racing at Spa Summer Classic, 10-12 June 2011

Andy Yates and Adrian Mossop achieved a great result at Spa this weekend, 6th overall in the Swinging Sixties despite a hairy moment or two. Speeds of 150mph along Les Combes! Results here: http://www.ris-timing.eu/~circuit//summer/2011/2011_Spa_Summer_Classic_2011_Classic_Sports_Car_Club_Swinging_S...

Splendid result!

Can we hope that Jason will be bringing his car onto the circuit next?

Welcome Tim!
Where are you located ?
Plenty of expertise and advice available within the club but not everyone uses the forum.
Hopefully a few Tigers will visit Mallory next Monday for the AMOC Intermarque round, if that's convenient for you?

AMOC Intermarque round, Mallory Park Monday 30th May

Next AMOC Intermarque round will take place at Mallory Park on Bank Holiday Monday 30th May. At least 3 Tigers entered and could see Dave Smallridge's car take its first victory after posting very fast times at Silverstone. The day is televised live by Motors TV, timing info to follow, there are als...

'Twas I that suggested the Croft Nostalgia weekend in August be included in the Events Diary. Many reports suggest this was a cracking success when held last year, eg: http://www.track-days.co.uk/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&t=887329&mid=0&nmt=Croft%20Nostalgia%20Weekend%207th%20and%208th%20August http://w...

No, I remembered the handbrake alright, it was the old beer can that had rolled under the accelerator that slowed me down. Otherwise I'd have been right up with the rest of them.

Keith and Dave are studying the bits thoroughly to determine the root cause and how to ensure it doesn't happen again. 3001 RW returned to the track in May, for the first time in decades, and it performed successfully at Le Mans Classic. AMOC have just confirmed that Team Tiger came 3rd in the Inter...

Great turnout of racers and supporters for Saturday's race, in cloudy, dark and cold conditions. The grid was unfortunately depleted in qualifying, first by Chris Draycott's Alpine throwing a rod, and secondly in the 50s team qualifying when Keith Hampson's Le Mans Alpine lost a wheel in a frighteni...
