my 302 runs cool .its got headers .and a stock bonnet .i have a flexifan and an electric which i only flick on if i,m in standing traffic .are you reading temp off the gauge ?

looks like it just wants a de coke.as old leaded cars uesd to .the engines are pretty bombproof .unless you buy a brand new one and it stops after 1500 easy miles

dean did my 289 as for price depends on what you need.and if you want a warranty lol .mine was honed rather than rebored .so save on pistons ect .had 30lb oil pressure before and 7 broken rings .now 55lb.

NEVER use the jack on its own, always support the car elsewhere, just in case, especially whilst bleeding the clutch! Always sound advise, I know of somebody who lost a foot and bottom of one leg, changing brake pads on his car when the jack toppled over. Not a pleasant experience and easily avoide...
