I hate to say but when I had the same problem with my old T5 [TVR] I just wound some foil tape around the end of shaft until it was a tight fit in bearing! Lasted for years with no problem.

A good time was had at Goodwood last weekend. A great mix of Shelby inspired cars. Unfortunately 2 Tigers weren't ready in time & another went home on a trailer following brake failure. Apparently twin turbos tend to quieten down the exhaust. Seems like a good excuse to me.

I like your style. I think a pair of large beer cans would suit better though. But worried they would create a lot of back pressure & be a bugger to fit securely. But definitely worth investigating.

Track days exhaust

Any ideas/experience of getting exhaust noise down to 105db for up coming track day? Running twin 2 1/2" pipes with "cherry bombs" Suspect well over 105 at present!
