That's mightily impressive work there Tim! Excellent stuff! I have 600 lbs (stock is nearer 200 lbs IIRC) front road springs and the Koni shocks are on medium (ish) setting. Have been told that the shock turrets on the crossmember would be best seam welding all around, something that some of the rac...

Alpine ones are the same as Tiger ones.
I have an earlier WTB on a set also, still looking..

You can see the difference in the spindles between Alpine and Series Rapier ones.
Getting few and far between now, but a worthwhile conversion!

Indeed, a ballast resistor Joe. On mine, they are slightly different to the version with the ceramic casing. Assume the ceramic ones are a modern take - not sure. http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r82/tomaselli/2015%20Tiger/Ballast%20Resistor_zpsz3as2hcb.jpg I got a few out of the US, far cheaper t...

That's a greatvXmas pressie Brad, to yourself.... I wouldn't worry too much about the rear tyres Stuart, against the relative cost of the engine - tyres are a serviceable item :D Brad, with all the horse power, don't forget to install a 'line lock' great for leaving a calling signature, as...

With the howling weather outside and the Tigers hibernating for the Winter, I need to get optimistic for next year's seson... and so I'm looking at events for 2016. I have a few overseas trips planned for the Tiger but I am particularly looking forward to LMC as Mrs T will be joining me. The first E...

Mighty impressive Brad! Looks an impressive combo, and I know if it's built and spec'd by Sleath it will very 'useable' on the street - great torque numbers :D Shame those exhaust manifolds won't go into a Tiger engine bay, we are so limited with the restrictive nature of the engine bay size to extr...

I know that there has been 'talk' of these being reproduced. Can't be that difficult to make a casting of an original and have them produced. I know of originals failing so it would be handy for a 'Specialist' to have these copied and manufactured. They have been reproduced in the past, so useful to...
