Had a look in your boot Bob. If you hit 88 miles an hour, does jump back to 1965? Got sorted with fuel line, know what to do now.

Thanks Bob. Going to see Dave tomorrow so if I may I'll look at your car, see where you routed you fuel pipe. If you had seen the concoction of cracked rubber pipes I took out!! nearly there now just the engine to go back, ha ha

Yup. bit of a brown pants moment. Mrs B thinks the car is safer than the plane, she thought it was cheaper too. until I embarked on the recent up grades. Nearly finished the fuel line, need to sleep on the last part, got some heat sheathing, hopefully the fuel won't be in it long enough to get hot!!...

Hi Tony. Relocated fuel pump to spare wheel well and managed to get a 1/4 BSP fitting onto cross feed pipe outlet, with a compression fitting to 10mm copper with tap located in notch under boot. I have had a devils own job to find a filter that doesn't have either 8mm hose tails or 10mm and when you...

Fuel pipe routing

Can anybody advise on the best route for a 10mm solid fuel line once I have come past the gearbox trunking into the engine bay, or which is correct for the Tiger. I have headers going back on the engine and didn't want to run to close for heat or space reasons.

Just done the same. The curve in the arm bends up, with the track rod fitting from below. As for left and right hand drive. Only the nut behind the wheel can tell. the car doesn't know.

Mal. I'm in the workshop looking at my axle, thinking there must be a way of setting the toe angle while off the car, looked at your post and I have come up with this. Please anyone correct me if I'm wrong. I made these simple spring compressors when I removed the axle they are M12 studding with a b...

Here is the finished X member with my own Wilwood brake up grade. I have put back 4 shims on each of the top wish bones, as this is what came of the Alpine axle, I assume this is correct for the Tiger. I was going to build up the axle on the car, but in the interest of time, while waiting for the en...

I agree. one thing to watch for, make sure the caliper is fully dust sealed, not all the Wilwood calipers are! The midlite I have used is. question I would ask when buying.

H. That looks nice and neat. I see Hi spec are near me as well. How much was the kit and what size are the discs. I made my own because the wildwood kit was nearly £1000 for the tiger, also available at Rally Design. I like the Brembo but even second hand they are to pricey but prob the best.

Hi Tony. Yes no probs, drilled and slotted. their brake expert said I would be going back every two weeks for new pads so suggested plain for now. the disc is 285mm so plenty of power and the caliper capacity was matched to the old ones so should be ok on master cylinder. you can have a look at Le M...

Hi Bob. 15" But I recon they would fit a 14" with correct positive offset, and just for the sake of correctness I have the wrong radius arm bolted to that hub, put together after a beer last night.

Wilwood brake upgrade

Decided to have a go at my own Wilwood brake upgrade to go with my new X member (restorations thread). So I visit a company here in kent called. Rally Design. www.rallydesign.co.uk with my stripped down hub. The whole exercise had to require the build with off the shelf parts, without alteration of ...

Thanks for that Randy. I did my research before I began this task. Cats whiskers 13 by Godfrey Green 1979 step by step front suspension overhaul. He makes the point underlined. I did put the vernier on them to check. its only 1/8" difference.
Thanks again for your help.
