The sunbeam club of victoria had its show at federation square on sunday. Thats not to bad.. those boxes are fully rebuilt and ready to go... they make a huge difference in an alpine... and are expensive to rebuild properly.

while this is in AU.. something to consider.. my SII alpine with SI 1494cc motor twin DCOE carbs, elec ignition, flat tops, modded head would cost more to insure than a stock MKI tiger.. reason.. tiger would be stock.. i gaurentee you a stock tiger would still see off the alpine (in a straight line ...

A trick i learnt a while back is sometimes if its only a maginal decrease you are looking for in temps you can make the water run a little longer.. longer hoses so the water has more time out of the block.. not sure how you would do that on a tiger though. IIRC there are quite afew articles that talk about how far to press the front flange of the pump on the shaft so that you get the correct alignment and clearence.
