Does anyone know if the head ports on the RS motor are the same as standard? so i don't have to fabricate new exhaust manifolds like Mal did. My heads were GT40P heads which are from Ford. Pretty sure they are the only head made by Ford with different a plug angle which causes the problem. As for a...

Hi Simon You can change a power rack to manual in a permanent way but I don't think you have to. You would need to talk to a steering specialist to be certain. The MR2 has speed sensitive steering which provides full assistance at slow speeds and little or none at open road speeds, so I would think ...

You could go with an MX5 power rack. It's 2.7 turns from lock to lock. I have done it to my Tiger and a Toyota MR2 electric power steering pump.
You could make the rack manual if you wanted.

The ign module will be the black box in the dizzy. You could give Petronix a call and ask them. I know when an ign module dies that is it,it's dead, no spark.

Cheers

Martin
Can't help with the damage to the end of the pushrod.
You should be able to get the MC bored and sleeved with a stainless sleeve. It will never do it again. I don't know if you can get new ones.

I would think you would need to take it to someone who does chrome plating to have it removed. They need to remove the old before they apply the new.

Thanks Tony. I had no choice but to find out about bump steer, but I am glad I did. Also using hemi rod ends allows more room for adjustment. My bump steer device has one board the same dia as the wheel bolted to the hub with a centre line. The other vertical board is set 15mm away from the hub boar...

Here are a few more photo's of the install. I decided to modify the pinion mount instead of having a bracket mounted to the side of the original rack mount. http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/xq90/706/96hu.jpg On the non pinion end I had to cut the corner off the mount to get enough clearance for the ...
